Let me firstly say sorry for rushing this page out. I was working on it when I heard the press conference at Turf Moor after the York City game, and just knew I had to stick the stuff onto the site. There isn't actually that much about Stan yet, but you can read on to find out about Stan's press conference.

Well, after the disgrace of York City, Stan Ternent called a press-conference. We all expected a simple apology from Stan for the performance, but he started by saying that Blatherwick, Howey, Winstanley and Williams will "Never play again for Burnley"...."They are no good to me". All are now available on free transfers.

It all started when Howey and Blatherwick were pulled off at half-time 'injured', with Matthew Haywood and Chris Scott coming on in replacement - incidentally Scott looked a great prospect....well he should being a David Beckham looky-likey! Williams was dire in a lacklustre midfield, and I'm sure Stan was considering adding Neil Moore to the list after his performance. Winstanley was his usual poor self, and finally it looks like we've ridded ourselves of 'beef'.

After the game, in an honest press-conference where you could tell that Stan was really sorry, he apologised for the performance, said that fans were justified to boo the team, and, as I've already said, listed the four players who will never play again. He also said that if anyone wanted to know the financial state of the club, then ask the directors, not him. If there is any money, he'll spend it. If not, he'll go for loan signings.
